PATROLMAN

 

  The City of Logan Police Department is accepting lateral transfer applications for the position of Patrol Officer. 

  Starting pay is based upon experience and includes shift differential, education incentives and an excellent benefits package. Applicants will be considered based on their qualifications, training, certifications, and experience.

 Applicants will be subject to a background investigation, polygraph, psychological examination, and pre-employment physical. A job description and application are available in the application packet. You must meet the minimum requirements:

 

  • 21 years of age at time of appointment.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent. 
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must possess a valid OPOTC certificate.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Completed application with a copy of your OPOTC certification, must be received at the Logan Police Department by 10:00 pm, Tuesday, May 28th, 2024.  Applicants will be notified by mail concerning the date, time, and location of a board interview.
